The LEVI’S® 1944 model is a faithful reproduction of WWII-era jeans, designed during a time of material rationing and conservation. True to the original vintage style, this classic piece omits features such as watch pocket rivets, crotch rivets, and the back waist cinch, reflecting the resource-saving measures of the period. LEVI’S® has carefully recreated these authentic details, including the use of plain, unbranded buttons with a distinctive laurel leaf design on the top button. Crafted from denim woven with deep blue, pure indigo-dyed yarns, the fabric has undergone a singeing process to reduce fluff, resulting in a clean, durable finish that captures the spirit of 1940s workwear.
