Astorflex
Astorflex is a historic Italian footwear brand founded in 1820 in Castel d’Ario, Mantua, where the Travenzoli family began crafting shoes using traditional artisanal methods that have been passed down through generations. After World War I, the company modernized its production while preserving techniques like the “Ideal” stitch construction that remains a hallmark of its shoes today. Now led by the sixth and seventh generations of the family, Astorflex is known for combining heritage craftsmanship with a strong commitment to sustainability, using vegetable-tanned leathers, natural rubber soles, and environmentally friendly dyes and adhesives. This blend of tradition, comfort, and eco-minded manufacturing has made Astorflex especially celebrated for its simple, timeless boots such as desert, chukka, and Chelsea styles.
