OAS takes its name from the initials of its Swedish founder, Oliver Adam Sebastian, and was conceived as a resort brand during his frequent visits to the family's summer house in Barcelona. The journey began when Oliver started providing his friends with elusive espadrilles footwear, which were unavailable in Scandinavia in 2010.
