Blunt Umbrellas

Blunt Umbrellas was founded in 2006 by New-Zealand engineer Greig Brebner, who „ frustrated by the flimsy, wind-prone umbrellas he encountered while walking London's rainy streets „ set out to reinvent the everyday umbrella. What emerged was a radically redesigned umbrella with a patented tensioned-canopy structure and ñbluntî tip technology, engineered to resist strong wind and built to outlast typical umbrellas. Launching commercially in 2009, BLUNT grew from small beginnings in New Zealand into a global brand, exporting to dozens of countries and expanding its line to include compact travel, full-length, and sport/golf umbrellas „ all unified by a philosophy of durability, repairability and thoughtful, human-centred design.
