The Short Lined Cruiser Jacket is expertly crafted from Tin Cloth, a renowned waxed cotton that has shielded foresters and outdoor workers from harsh weather, brambles, and abrasion for over a century. Produced by Britain’s historic British Millerain, this 14oz per square yard fabric is twice the weight of standard imitations, offering exceptional durability, superior tear strength, and enhanced water resistance. Much like premium denim, Tin Cloth gradually softens, shaping itself to your body’s movement and wear patterns over time. Designed at a practical hip length, the jacket allows easy access to trouser pockets or a tool belt and stays comfortably in place when seated. Its body is lined with lightweight canvas, while the sleeves feature smooth polyester twill for effortless layering. Sturdy metal-shank buttons fasten the front, cuffs, and adjustable hem tabs, while functional pockets – including a slotted chest pocket for tools or pencils, a flap-covered chest pocket for secure storage, and bar-tack reinforced hand pockets – ensure both utility and resilience.
