Designed to be worn high on the hips as a traditional straight leg model with a high rise it offers a longer measurement than the standard of 86.5 cm for selvage denim jeans. This allows the jeans to be cuffed (turned up) in order to show the selvage finish without reducing the intended length of the jeans. Also of benefit when re-tailoring the pant without interfering with the cut of the jeans this jean is the prefect item for denim purists and for those who like to wear a traditional cut of denim.

Having had many pairs of Edwins, and in particular Nashvilles, I know they are the best jeans you can buy for the money; they're brilliant all round. However, after one days wear the top button came off this latest pair which is a new one on me. We'll see if the replacement pair are any better or if Tunisian made Edwins just aren't as well made as the Japanese ones were...

I have worn Edwin Nashville for many years and whilst they are no longer made in Japan they are still very good jeans. In particular I like the fit which whilst larger than stated ensures that you will not suffer from that awful tight arse effect that you suffer with current 501s.
