Presenting the 2021 edition of the GRIZZLY BEAR by Porter Yoshida, crafted meticulously in Japan. Every step, from conceptual design to final stitching, is completed within Japan, ensuring quality and precision in every bear.

This unique GRIZZLY BEAR, standing at 12 inches, features exceptional German glass eyes renowned for their transparency and vivid colour. Unlike the more common plastic eyes seen in antique bears from the 1970s onwards, these glass eyes harken back to the tradition of vintage bears from the 1940s to 1960s. Glass, as a medium, provides greater light transmission, giving each bear a unique, expressive gaze—something rarely found today when plastic eyes have become the norm.

With moveable joints at the head, hands, and feet, this GRIZZLY BEAR offers both charm and flexibility, making it a rare collector’s piece and a celebration of Japanese craftsmanship.
