Through its collaboration with the Pompeii Brand, the iconic cherry emblem takes on a new dimension, blending urban flair with the comfort and adaptability inherent in their collections. This Spring their sold out football jersey from last year returns, paying homage to the magic of the Spanish island.
History Of Pacha Ibiza
In the 1970s, Ibiza emerged as a sanctuary for artists, musicians, writers, and those seeking liberation from societal norms and constraints. Linked by the hippie trail that spanned destinations such as Amsterdam, Goa, and San Francisco, Ibiza's nights pulsated with a melange of psychedelic beats, rock and jazz fusion, and the burgeoning disco scene that set dance floors ablaze.
For Ricardo Urgell, the revelation came after establishing Pacha Sitges in 1967, when he stumbled upon Ibiza and recognized its need for his enchanting vision. In 1973, Pacha opened its doors, morphing into a sanctuary of liberty where revellers gyrated to the music until daybreak, fostering a realm where dreams and desires flowed freely. And the dance endured.
In those days, the music and kaleidoscopic lights whisked attendees to distant galaxies. Since then, Pacha's global expansion has been unrelenting, manifesting in myriad forms and locales worldwide, yet perpetually evoking that same ineffable sensation from their iconic nightclub.
Made in Portugal, the Pompeii x Pacha jersey embodies the iconic baggy look of the 80s & 90s with embroidered details and shield patch on the chest. Similarly to match fit kits, the shirt features screenprinted artwork that mimics a clubs sponsor, with the backprint reading 'From 00:00 till late' - referring to the opening times of the Pacha superclub during season. The Pink/Cream colourway pays homage to the clubs famous lighting & sunsets of the island through summer.
