Since their introduction in the 1980s, the 1700NL German Army Trainer has become one of the most iconic styles of shoe on the market. The low profile silhouette has transcended its military roots and crossed into a variety of scenes, making the the GAT not only a staple of heritage, but of modern fashion as a whole. Reproduction of Found have tried their very best to preserve the history of this fantastic trainer, using supple Italian Suede and Nappa Leather for the upper, and the BW Sport Gum sole used on original 1980s GATs. A pig leather has been used for the lining and insole, creating an extremely comfortable footbed that prioritises all-day wear. With a simple lace closure and details of the shoe stamped on the insole, this classic is an essential for a well rounded wardrobe.
