A revival style this season that is likely to remain popular among enthusiasts and collectors of 80s apparel, the Fjord embodies the creative vision of Italian sportswear designers. It stands out as one of the finest examples of retro track tops from the 1980s. Influenced by the iconic tennis player John McEnroe, known for his bold style on and off the court, the Fjord represents a perfect blend of athleticism and fashion-forward design from Sergio.

During the vibrant 1980s Casual era, a multitude of iconic McEnroe styles emerged, including the Ghibli, the Masters, the Dallas, the Star, and the Fjord, among others. McEnroe gained particular attention when he sported the striking red Fjord track top during his victorious six-hour-long Davis Cup quarter-final against Mats Wilander in 1982. Like many of the classic Tacchini designs favoured by McEnroe during this period, the Fjord garnered significant popularity among Casuals for its premium pricing and exclusive allure.
