The two brands continue to build on their partnership, having collaborated on various designs since 2019 with the Jungle Ultra Low & XT-Slate.
The -Jungle Ultra Low' maintains some of its predecessor's essential characteristics while reimaging the model into a new environment, whether it be urban or outdoor scenarios. Adhering to a low-cut silhouette, the upper of the shoe comprises a blend of tonal grey hues with elements of 3M speckled around for additional visibility.
Utilising a sock-like construction, the upper has been designed in this way to avoid stones and other debris from entering inside where the foot should comfortably sit, all while ventilated holes increase air flow throughout this area. Salomon retains its Contagrip outsole technology to ensure the Jungle Ultra Low provides ample grip and traction across varying terrains, whether it is wet or dry. Drawing inspiration from the classic jungle boot silhouette, the design is minimal yet functional. Expanding its presence in the outdoor hiking footwear market, the new iteration of Salomon-s XT-SLATE comes shortly after its Wood Wood collaboration. The and Wander x Salomon XT-SLATE arrives in a clean colourway featuring white, embossed waffle uppers that appear to feature a mountainous rocky trail. The shoe comes with a quick lace system, meaning it couldn't be easier to put on and take off and adjust the fit. In addition, similar to all popular Salomon models, the shoe also utilizes Salomon's original "CONTAGRIP" technology - giving the shoe grip and durability for different types of terrains and movements for outdoor adventures.
