To commemorate 25 years since the publication of 'Awaydays', 80s Casuals have teamed up with author Kev Sampson to bring a special Limited Edition of 250 'Awaydays' Hardback Book.
Awaydays was an instant cult classic ever since it's very first publication back in March of 1998. This book documents the styles, bands & political backdrop of the late-70s terrace era of Merseyside. Since it's release a film was produced in 2009 depicting the novel's tale of 'two disaffected youths' teenage kicks' - featuring Nicky Bell, Liam Boyle and Stephen Graham.
This bespoke limited edition hardback features author Kevin Sampson intro and original unpublished first chapter, written back in 1982. With only 250 hardbacks produced, Kev himself has hand numbered & signed each copy himself 1-250, making this a collectible to cherish for years to come.
