Norda is a very young but fast‑growing brand in the world of performance footwear. Founded in 2020 by lifelong runners Nick and Willa Martire out of Montreal, Canada, Norda was born from a simple frustration — the founders couldn’t find trail running shoes that truly balanced durability, performance, and comfort on demanding terrain. From that dissatisfaction came a clear mission to build something better and more resilient for the trails.

Rather than following trends, Norda doubled down on thoughtful design and material innovation. The team worked with designer Louis‑Martin Tremblay to push technical boundaries, experimenting with advanced materials such as bio‑based Dyneema® — one of the lightest yet strongest fibers in the world — to create shoes that feel feather‑light yet rugged enough for punishing landscapes. The result is a lineup of trail shoes that are engineered to endure deep mud, sharp rocks and long miles without sacrificing agility or comfort.

Though still in its early years, the brand has already earned praise from dedicated runners and outdoor athletes for its uncompromising approach to performance and its commitment to thoughtful, responsible design. Norda’s history is one of purposeful beginnings, rooted in real experience on the trail, and driven by a relentless pursuit of gear that lasts longer, performs harder, and answers the demands of those who refuse to slow down.
