Burlington Socks
Burlington Socks got its start with Burlington Industries originally founded in 1923 in Burlington, North Carolina as part of a broader textile-manufacturing company. The iconic moment for the brand came in 1975, when Burlington introduced socks featuring the distinctive argyle (diamond) pattern, which quickly became its signature look in Europe and beyond. Over the decades the brand changed hands: the hosiery business was divested in the early 1980s, and in 2008 rights to the Burlington brand for Europe, Australia and South America were acquired by Falke Group yet Burlington retained its hallmark argyle style, premium materials, and reputation for quality. Today Burlington remains known for combining tradition and timeless design with top-notch craftsmanship, offering a wide range of socks that appeal to both classic and modern tastes.
