Stylist Notes

In the quest for a black jean that stays black, Nudie Jeans have developed Everblack. A denim that doesn’t fade. Everblack fabric has been developed to keep its pitch-black tone after wear and washing. The result is a fabric that remains pitch black after over 40 domestic wash cycles. Normally, when fabrics are dyed the pigment will not completely fixate. Thus, excess dye remains unfixed on the surface which eventually tears off as you wear and wash your garment. In the case of our Everblack fabric, the method and type of dyestuff have been improved to provide a stronger fixation, resulting in greater color fastness that makes the fabric withstand more wear and washes.

Wearing a pair of black jeans has always been a way to express attitude and rebellion. Today, wearing a pair of black denim is considered “clean” and “well-dressed”, but we know it’s a way for the society to give all you rebels out there a chance to show what you’re made of.

The straight and slim Lean Dean has a normal waist and rise. It's straight from top, all the way to the bottom and has a narrow leg opening.
