London based Oscar Deen returns with their latest range of sunglasses, taking inspiration from the back alleys & hidden antique shops around the streets of Europe. The brand was founded in 2015 by two Londoners living in Manchester, when the pair realised that they "never went anywhere without our sunglasses." Check out their latest curation of frames for the spring/summer season below.

Oscar Deen Fraser
Discovered beneath the railway arches in Camden, London, the Fraser takes its name from the expert who introduced the brands founders to the inspiring frames. This chance encounter with an eyewear aficionado taught the pair the essence of true eyewear. Robust yet delicate, the Fraser's have a 60s Italian 'drop down' bifocal feel, with soft contours & a pronounced angled brow.

Like all Oscar Deen frames, the Fraser's are crafted from Mazzucchelli acetate - an Italian material that has been industry-leading since 1849. The lenses are made from organic plastic, offering a perfect blend of lightweight comfort and optical clarity.

Oscar Deen Nelson
Inspired by the distinctive 1950s American military style, the Nelson frames complement any outfit. The sunglasses owe their name to a time the founding pair spent in Barcelona, that was almost a disaster due to holiday mishaps and expensive taxi rides. Fortunately, they met 'Nelson', a Brazilian by birth and a Catalan by love. His advice brought the pair joy, led them to these frames, and gave them their name.

They updated the pair they found in the Spanish city with a keyhole bridge, widened face, and chamfered brow - all making the shades more versatile on different face shapes.

The OD case that comes with every pair is crafted in partnership with London-based leather artisan Otis Ingrams. Each case is handmade in London, using two pieces of recycled composite leather, four brass rivets, and a single brass stud.

Oscar Deen Morris
The Morris sunglasses are a blend of two iconic 1950s American "His and Hers Safety Series" frames. The name is owed to The Morris family - long-time friends of OD. As collectors and a wellspring of knowledge, their family-run shop is a gem in Kings Cross, London. Their support, including countless tea sessions, led the pair to these frames, which Oscar Deen named in their honour.

The shape softens the sharp lines of the "his" edition for a sleeker look while maintaining the "her" edition's silhouette for a soft, European-style brow.
