15 years after their first collaboration, Barbour joins forces once again with designer Tokhito Yoshida celebrating the craftsmanship found from South Shields to Japan. Barbour embarked on their first ever collaboration with Tokihito for AW11 to bring together two keen eyes for design and functionality. Returning for AW24, this collaboration offers complex garments that have been carefully considered at every step to bring together authenticity and expertise with functionality at its core.

Focusing on design & functionality, the pair both have a shared a passion for British outdoor collection which is what drew the designer to work with Barbour initially. This time round the collection pays homage to Barbour's long archive of waxed jackets over the decades, including remakes of traditional military issued jackets & iconic quilted pieces worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond in Skyfall. Check out a few highlight wax pieces from the collection below.

Barbour x TO KI TO Military Waxed Jacket
The Barbour x TO KI TO Military Waxed Jacket draws its inspiration from a remarkable piece in Barbour's history. This contemporary design is a tribute to Captain Cotton's bespoke Durham Waxed Jacket, echoing the utilitarian elements and functional features that define the original. Tailored in the signature TO KI TO fit, the jacket is adorned with strategically positioned pockets and D-ring details, complemented by Barbour-branded studs, all paying a respectful homage to the classic archive styles.

Barbour x TO KI TO Shoreman Waxed Jacket
The Shoreman celebrates Barbour's early days of designing oilskin jackets for the workers on and off the shores of the Northern Sea - made to protect them from the harsh elements. Drawing inspiration from their archived Shoreman Overhead Jacket, this jacket seamlessly blends British heritage and trusted design with a contemporary touch. The updated version includes a more functional zip-up closure and a removable hood, offering enhanced versatility and protection.

Barbour x TO KI TO Outland Waxed Jacket
The Outland Waxed Jacket takes its cue from classic military jackets, designed with the idea that you won't need a bag, thanks to its abundance of purposefully placed pockets. Thoughtfully engineered for comfort, it features venting zips on the back of the sleeves for temperature control and chest pockets with waterproof zips for enhanced functionality. Finished with Corozo buttons that develop character over time, this waxed cotton jacket is crafted for true jacket aficionados.

Barbour x TO KI TO Sporting Quilted Wax Jacket - As Seen In Skyfall
This latest venture also sees the return of the sporting jacket worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond in Skyfall 12 years ago. The Barbour x TO KI TO Sporting jacket takes cues from the classic Liddesdale quilt, offering a fresh interpretation of traditional box quilting. Designed with outdoor protection in mind, it features thermal wadding for heat retention and signature waxed cotton to shield against the elements, making it perfect for your outdoor pursuits.
