Stylist Notes

Ready for Spring/Summer Paraboot re-imagine one of their most iconic shoes. The Michael Raphia swaps out the traditional grain leather upper for a lighter weight natural yarn known as raffia, a plant of the palm family. The natural fibers are known for their strength and have been used for centuries in the making of hats, bags, furniture, and more. The material gives an instant feel of Spring/Summer with its open-weave construction and light colour. The inside of the shoes are lined with premium tan leather that can also be found on the tongue and trims of the shoe. To add to the summery feel of the shoe the normal laces have been swapped out with a more rustic rope lace in an ivory colour. The soles have also changed, with a chunky crep sole being used instead of rubber. Same solid construction as always for Paraboot with the upper sewn to the bottom of the shoe by hand giving a real solid feel to the shoe. A really stunning shoe that could add something to your Spring/Summer wardrobe this season.
