Stylist Notes

This is the Embroidered Arrow Hoody in Black Navy —a fleece-back jersey hooded sweatshirt that takes its inspiration from vintage collegiate sportswear. Heavily influenced by the sweatshirts and hoodies worn during the middle of the 20th century, it features raglan sleeves and a large kangaroo pocket on the chest.

Made in Portugal, this men's hoody has the high quality feel you’d expect from the Nigel Cabourn Army Gym range. Shape-wise, these are a touch longer in the body than most vintage-inspired sweats around, and don’t have the short, ‘boxy’ fit of a 1950s hoodie—meaning they’re perfectly suited to modern life, ideal for jogging, training, and lounging alike.

As the name suggests, this has an embroidered broad arrow logo on the chest. This logo features regularly in Nigel’s designs and is an homage to the ‘broad arrow’ or ‘crows feet’ motifs which were used to denote equipment and clothing owned by the military up until the 1980s.
