The Tin Cruiser Jacket boasts over a century of reliable service. First crafted for foresters and patented in 1914, no other jacket compares to its legacy of durability, water resistance, and practicality. The front design includes eight purpose-built pockets, ranging from hand and chest pockets to slotted utility and compass compartments. A double-layered back offers enhanced protection from harsh weather and incorporates a full-width, pass-through pocket, originally meant for carrying maps and survey charts. The shoulders and outer arms are reinforced with a second layer of Tin Cloth, providing superior defence against the elements. Secure front closure, adjustable cuffs, and pocket flaps feature virtually indestructible snaps.

The oil-finished Tin Cloth is made from tightly woven duck canvas, thoroughly infused with paraffin wax under high heat and pressure. This method ensures the wax penetrates deep into the cotton fibres, delivering long-lasting water resistance.
