Carhatt WIP Size Guide

Carhartt WIP runs a little large, however we’d usually recommend buying your normal size if you want the oversized workwear look.

If you’re between sizes or want a more fitted style, then sizing down might be right for you. However we’d recommend ordering your normal size in jeans and trousers based on wait size.

Stylist Notes 

A true Carhartt icon. The Classic Vest is constructed from super-tough 'Dearborn Canvas'. This modern interpretation uses 100% Organic cotton but is just as robust as previous iterations. Highly utilitarian as well as having a clean aesthetic - the vest features a large kangaroo pouch at the front with a further hidden pocket velcro closure pocket for your valuables. The vest is quilt-lined for insulated quality which is lighter weight than fleece. A great layering piece that can be worn over shirts, or t-shirts and paired with chinos or selvage jeans.

Carhartt WIP, short for Work In Progress, was established in Europe in 1989 as a contemporary reinterpretation of the long-standing American workwear brand Carhartt, which was founded in Detroit in 1889. While rooted in the durability and utilitarian ethos of its parent company, Carhartt WIP developed its own identity by adapting classic workwear aesthetics to a modern, urban context.
