A seasonal iteration of THE best selling jacket from contemporary menswear label Universal Works this Summer Denim iteration of the Bakers Jacket oozes in quality and - of course - aesthetics retaining the same vintage work wear Chore Jacket silhouette that kick started the original. Utilising a lightweight cotton denim this particular version has achieved it's washed out light blue colour by undergoing an enzyme washing process which also gives the garment a soft feel that is more in line with the texture and stiffness of a denim shirt than a rigid denim jacket. Sticking with the four external and one internal combination of pockets - one internal, one chest, two at lower front and a coin pocket at the lower right hand pocket - and a set of five exaggerated buttons at the placket closure help to define the piece. Finished with white stitch detailing at the seams that is in-keeping with the jacket's tonality team with a pair of earthy toned cargo pants or chinos for seamless results throughout the course of the coming months.
