The Submarine Knit is a men’s heavyweight wool jumper inspired by the fishing jumpers worn by the merchant navy during the Arctic Convoys of WW2. With no strict uniform policy, the sailors who helped out with these vital convoys often wore hand-knitted jumpers to keep the cold out—heavily influenced by these unique pieces of knitwear, the Submarine Knit features a stand collar (which sits halfway between a crew-neck and a roll-neck) and a large kangaroo pocket. It’s also got an anchor logo knitted under the collar.
