Flower Mountain x Universal Works SS23 Capsule
For Spring/Summer 2023, Universal Works have come together for a seasonal partnership with Japanese Footwear brand, Flower Mountain; a collaborative project that includes dual-branded clothing and footwear to sit within the wider Universal Works Spring/Summer ‘23 collection.
Reflecting Universal Works’ seasonal mood, the collection is inspired by great American landscapes fused with hazy summer walks on the British coastline. With earthy tones featured throughout, Think rugged high deserts in sandstone browns, prairies bursting with delicate spring flora in yellows and pinks, expansive skies in blues and greys.
The collaborative clothing capsule includes jackets, shirts, t-shirts and sweaters, with many hand embroidered with Japanese and western themes and typography, the motifs intentionally highlighting the coming together of Universal Works and the Dandelion Mountaineering Association, a much loved theme of the Flower Mountain brand, all unified under a co-branded label.
Featuring four footwear styles in various combinations of suede, leather, and cloud-print nylon, The Flower Mountain x Universal Works collaboration includes two variations of the Yamono 3 alongside the Yamono Uni and Camp styles, all made up in colour ways that compliment & style well with the Universal Works SS23 Collection.
For both brands, Spring signifies the return of a healthy spontaneity and zest for life, it’s all about good times with good people, trying new things and making new memories together.
