Belstaff: The Edit
Authentically British, Belstaff are one of the most renowned label’s in global outwear. Established in 1924 the label is steeped in history, firmly rooted within it’s Motorsports heritage. Developing into a contemporary luxury brand this season’s collections explore a new sense of rugged elegance, with high-quality fabrications and refined silhouettes. You can browse the latest Belstaff arrivals at Stuarts London below.
Marrying “structural integrity and considered style” Belstaff focus on three particular fabrications, gore-tex, down, and shearling. Drawing on the ‘independent spirit’ and dynamic lifestyles of their customers, they wanted to design clothing that would look stylish and are functional in multiple different settings.
A Standout Piece: Belstaff Dennison Jacket
A standout piece from the collection is the Belstaff Dennison Jacket which takes the idea of the classic shearling jacket and modernises it by combining elements of other classic men’s jackets that Belstaff are experts in making such as the classic aviator jacket, leather biker jacket with a full coat length.
How Has The Jacket Been Constructed?
The result is a unique looking jacket that has classic elements but an altogether fresh look. The fabrication of the jacket is pretty crazy. The exterior is made from a hand-finished waxed shearling with raw-cut bridle trims and on the throat latch. The jacket comes in a full length which affords extra features such as hand-warmer pockets with biker jacket style zippers.
What Makes The Jacket So Special?
Two extra-large leather-covered military-style double press stud pockets give you plenty of room to store all your everyday essentials and match the leather trims on the front zipper and the arms. The jacket is lined with shearling made from extra soft Lamb Fur delivering unrivalled warmth and comfort.
An amazing piece of outerwear from the legendary heritage brand that has really got us excited. Keep your eye on our New Arrivals section for the latest from Belstaff and other brands for the coming season.
