What Is The Spring/Summer Collection?
Spring is finally here, and it couldn’t have come any sooner. While the temptation to get the t-shirts and shorts out at the first sign of sun is strong, and although we all could do with a healthy dose of vitamin d, our options for Spring and Summer dressing are far more than we think. With a huge range of options for Spring/Summer available from unstructured linen and cotton jackets, big flowy trousers, and light knitwear make for some of the best dressing options of the whole year and the same thing goes for shoes.

How Are Michael Raffia’s Constructed?
For Spring/Summer Paraboot re-imagine one of their most iconic shoes. The Michael Raphia swaps out the traditional grain leather upper of the original for a lighter weight natural yarn known as raffia, a plant of the palm family. The natural fibres are known for their strength and have been used for centuries in the making of hats, bags, furniture, and more. The material gives an instant feel of Spring/Summer with its open-weave construction and light colour.
The inside of the shoes are lined with premium tan leather that can also be found on the tongue and trims of the shoe. To add to the summery feel of the shoe the normal laces have been swapped out with a more rustic rope lace in an ivory colour. The soles have also changed, with a chunky crepe sole being used instead of rubber. Same solid construction as always for Paraboot with the upper sewn to the bottom of the shoe by hand giving a real solid feel to the shoe. A really stunning shoe that could add something to your Spring/Summer wardrobe this season.
How Are The Barth Boat Shoes Constructed?
Paraboot’s take on the classic boat shoe. Using a construction design technique taken from the Native Americans, these are hand sewn using the blake stitching technique where the shoe apron is sewn to the upper. The result being a shoe that is light, supple and thin and moulds seamlessly to the shape of your foot with wear. Buttery soft grain leather makes these shoes easy to slip on for any occasion.
Are These The Perfect Summer Sandals?
Paraboot’s answer to the modern sandal by drawing on a sandal silhouette from mid-century styling that was lost for a while but is back with a vengeance. The Paraboot Pacific Sport sandal is carefully hand-crafted in France by artisans using the finest materials around.
A long-standing member of Paraboot’s more sporty line, the Pacific is an ideal sandal for the summer ahead thanks to the supple leather upper atop a lightweight and flexible rubber outsole. Last but not least, the footbed has been given a leather cushion for optimum comfort for those long summer walks.
