But these are not your run of the mill slippers you get for Christmas, that by the following year, have all but disintegrated. Mahabis’ latest, limited edition design is a piece of footwear that elevates everything you do in them through thoughtful design.

The foundations of a good slipper are based, first and foremost, around comfort and Mahabis shoes certainly deliver on that in spades. One of their most recognisable design features is the neoprene ‘heel cradle’ designed to avoid heel slip when walking and to keep all the warmth locked in.

Another great feature of these slippers is they are designed to be worn both indoors and outdoors. This is thanks to their new ‘Pura-latex’ sole construction made from 100% performance grade rubber. This in combination with their minimal and modern design means a quick trip to the shops is easy, without having to worry about what shoes to wear.

As we look closer at the design, the rubber sole sits on a all new 100% sherling footbed, giving support and comfort in every step. The lining is made from a very special sheepskin wool, known for its temperature regulating properties – keeping your feet toasty warm without being uncomfortably hot or sweaty.

The upper from the softest sherling, giving a luxurious feel and gives gentle compression to the foot, fighting fatigue that builds up throughout the day. Coming in two minimal style colourways with their signature contrasting soles giving a distinctive character without ever being loud.

Mahabis have also partnered with Satra, the independent research and testing footwear organisation. This ensures that every pair meets certain durability, abrasion and sizing standards.

All these elements combined give a unique wearing experience with guaranteed comfort. You’ll be jumping out of bed in the morning just to get them on.
