Top Picks: July

July is here. And with it, finally some good news. Pubs have opened their doors once again (happy days!) and barbers have also re-opened so you can finally sort that dodgy barnet out after abandoning it for months. Shops have also re-opened including our very own in Shepard’s Bush (by appointment only) and it seems we are beginning to get a glimmer of normality back again.

The start of a new month means new arrivals at Stuarts London. As one of London’s oldest independent’s, we have specialised in heritage brands for the last 50 years. We’ve rounded up some of our favourite releases of the month so far and give you a taster of things to come.

Snow peak bag

Snow Peak has really impressed us this season. The Japanese outdoor brand creates lifetime-guaranteed products with the user experience in mind. The thought and care that goes into every item whether it be a titanium spork or a camping chair is remarkable and this 3way multi-purpose bag is no different. It can be worn as a rucksack, carry on suitcase, shoulder bag or holdall. Large suitcase-style opening with three exterior storage pockets – this bag gives you all the space you need whether you’re going backpacking or on a business trip. Made from high-quality nylon it is also lightweight and water-resistant. Just an absolutely brilliant piece of kit that will serve you for years to come. Check out the full collection here.

Carhartt Trousers

Stuarts London favourites Carhartt WIP have come to define modern American Workwear. An essential workwear item, and one that Carhartt have become known for are the cargo pants. We especially dig these ones as they have all the attitude of the cargo pants that we are used to seeing from Carhartt but have been updated with a slightly slimmer and more modern silhouette. The slimmer cut allows for more versatility when pairing and can be dressed up with a shirt and the tapered hem give an extra pop to your footwear option.

Continuing in the function-based-tech-wear vain – these Terrex Free Hiker are one of the best looking releases from adidas Originals this month. Ultra-lightweight and built with comfort in mind these hikers get everything right. Fitted with an extra Continental™ Rubber outsole giving extra grip even on wet surfaces. These are serious walking shoes but with updated sleek look like some of our favourite trainers. These ones aren’t to be missed.

C17 Raw Denim Jeans

French denim experts C17 Jeans developed a cult following of fans in the 80s and 90s but the brand went into remission around the late 90s. The SS20 Denim release marks the first jeans produced by the brand in over 20 years. Using denim from the world-renowned Cone Denim Mills – the same denim mill that produced the original Levis – no detail has been overlooked in the making of these jeans. From the brass and copper rivets to the reinforced belt looks these jeans are built for daily use. The Raw Rigid Americano jean should please those looking to get their very first pair of raw denim jeans and die-hard denim fans alike.

24 Bottles Travel Tumbler

Want an easy and stylish way to keep your coffee warm all morning. No worries just pour your coffee straight into this 24 Bottles Travel Tumbler and you’ve got guaranteed hot coffee for 6 hours – more than enough to see you through those tough Monday mornings. It features a leakproof lid and minimal design and it’s size means it fits perfectly in your hand or a cup holder.

Paraboot Sandals

You know when it’s just boiling outside and it doesn’t seem to matter what shoes you wear everything makes you feel like your feet are melting into the floor? Well, French shoemakers, Paraboot know exactly that what you need. The design might be different to what you’re used to for menswear but trust us these look great and they have the premium quality that we’ve come to expect from Paraboot. They’re really versatile as well – wear them with shorts, jeans, chinos – the options are endless. Hand made in France, from buttery smooth leather these are super comfortable and will keep your feet cool even on those absolute scorchers.

That’s our top picks for the month so far but we’re getting new stuff in all the time so keep an eye on our New Arrivals page for all the latest updates and brands.
