Ullac x Gloverall | Fusing contemporary fashion and traditional workwear

At once modern but also brimming with heritage, this collaboration between legendary British brand Gloverall, known largely for their duffle coat and British-Finnish brand Ullac, who combine impeccably high quality craftsmanship, with a casual style.

The collaboration features two silhouettes, a painters jacket and a trouser. Coming in either an ecru twill or raw Italian denim. The painters jacket uses one of Ullac’s jacket silhouettes with added details from Gloverall. The twill ecru model has a clean look with a jute rope toggle, the jacket takes on a workwear image and features two large pockets and a small coin pocket with curved finishes on the collar and the hem. The denim model takes on a bolder look, with crisp indigo denim from Candiani in Italy, merged with Gloverall’s ripstop fabric in a blue tonal tie-dye on the lower part of the jacket. The denim model is also complete with the jute rope toggle, adding an interesting contrast to the darker denim fabric.

The trousers utilise the same fabrics as their counterpart jackets which makes them perfect for matching or mixing up for a striking look. Featuring two large patch pockets, a button fly and drawcord waist fastening. The fabric of both pairs are from Italy and are also crafted in Italy. With a loose fit and an aggressive taper the collection has been made with a unisex style in mind, the trousers can be worn higher up or lower down depending on how cropped you want the fit, making this collaboration a truly versatile collection.

For those looking for a modern take on traditional workwear then you won’t find much better than this collaboration, with high-quality construction in mind, this collection will gain a patina and soften as you wear them making them truly unique to the wearer. The addition of interesting tie-dye fabrics and subtle Gloverall details really sets these pieces apart from the crowd.
