Stuarts London: Our Favourite Sunday

blog_header_image_sunday

In our new blog series we’re going to be putting together the ultimate Sunday chill day. Our team have been busy all week digging out the latest releases in the world of TV, books, music and fashion – bringing you the choice picks to make sure you can enjoy a Sunday on the sofa. Like our choices? Why not send us a picture of you enjoying your perfect Sunday using the hashtag #StuartsSunday? We will feature the best ones in next week’s post.

What we're watching

True Detective (Season 2)

Call us crazy, but we prefer to save up our series episodes and binge watch them all in one go. Whether you have been following the second season of this gritty US drama week by week, or have been waiting (like us) for the chance to press play and watch them all in a day – it’s safe to say that everyone is talking about True Detective. Taking over the reins from Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson is Colin Farrell and Rachel McAdams, although the series got mixed reviews throughout its run, we still think it’s just as good as series one – and a perfect Sunday binge watch.

What we're listening to

James Bay

James Bay is everywhere at the moment, but don’t let the over exposure put you off. This singer/songwriter is immensely talented and his soulful voice has been recognised with support slots with Tom Odell, Kodaline and John Newman. His album Chaos and the Calm is the perfect accompaniment to a chilled out Sunday and features the hits Hold Back the River and Let it Go.

What we're reading

My Fight Your Fight – Ronda Rousey

Rhonda Rousey’s last four fights have lasted a combined 130 seconds and her last bout with Brazilian Bethe Correia saw Rousey KO her opponent in just 34 seconds. With stats like this it is no surprise that the Stuarts team are finding it hard to put down the UFC champion’s autobiography. The book charts her fight to the top and how she has forged a successful career in the male dominated world of UFC. This is one woman we do not want to get on the wrong side of!

What we're wearing

Blood Brother

We’re still loving this London based brand and what better way to relax than in their Guille Black Track Pants? These pants take inspiration from the military, just like the bulk of their latest range. With an elasticated waist, cuff hem and a slim fit cut, it’s the perfect choice for either relaxing in the home or heading out.
