J.Lindeberg SS 13

J.Lindeberg  SS 13

The J.Lindeberg Spring Summer 2013 collection,  inspired by nature, entitled ‘Sweden from Above’ comes in swathes of beige and brown throughout. Designer Jessy Heuvelink is inspired by the geometrical shapes created by nature.

The diversity; the colours, lines and textures, that show in the  progressive tailoring combined with a contemporary sportswear influence, further adding to their crossover appeal.  With  geometric shapes and lines, tone-on-tone colour, and a palette that ranged from water blues to sandy nudes, with a flash of bright tangerine, inspiration from the colour and contours of the small towns, forests and farmlands that punctuate the country’s Scandinavian landscape.

Lightweight, nylon double rider jacket, pleated, selvedge pleated denim featuring the increasingly popular unfinished hem, slim cut, double breasted suits and loose fitting woven shirts,  and a mix of casual and tailoring, it’s the smart suits that really impress, most notable the sharp double breasted jacket above.

Lindeberg’s youthful take on sophisticated sportswear,  and playful use of fabric, offers a vision of micro-trends moving into 2013. European in design with plenty of confidence, the man that wears J Lindeberg knows how to dress, knows where he is going, and on the journey there is going to look perfectly styled.
