Layered Menswear Looks in Lacoste L!ve 2012 – 2013
The Lacoste brand has moved forward enormously in recent years by embracing fashion-led, directional shapes with functional details while retaining a signature aesthetic that affirms the brands heritage. The result for autumn/winter 12 is a coherent and exciting contemporary offer that blurs the boundaries between high fashion and sports inspired leisure wear.
Lacoste L!ve presents its new Fall-Winter 2012-2013 lookbook of more youthful designs for men. British male model Callum Wilson sports label’s ready to wear looks, featuring sporty mix of sportswear and accessories. Overall, it’s relaxed colourful collection, which consists of varsity jackets, bombers, parkas and other fashionable pieces. Lacoste lets their more youthful side shine with a new lookbook featuring British model Callum Wilson.
Ready for the fall/winter 2012 season ahead, Lacoste delivers a sporty mix of outerwear and accessories to accompany their iconic staples like the polo shirt. Relaxed, spruced up with colour and joined by their own take on the varsity jacket, bomber, parka and other pieces, the laid-back range is a young necessity. Lacoste L!ve, the brand’s diffusion label, has expanded a great deal this season, targeting a younger consumer. A preppy varsity theme runs through mens ranges with bright polar colour blocking standing out as a key design feature.
Utility shirts and minimal rucksacks were highlights for menswear. A range staple denim shirt is given a scalloped placket and styled with the top button fastened for a fresh update. The main Lacoste line is inspired by adventure wear exemplified by corduroy and canvas gilets and geometric printed monochromatic jumpers with fabric contrasts being a key design feature across the collection.
