 Nicole Farhi’s design inspiration comes from the best possible place – real life. Today Nicole Farhi presides over one of Britain’s best-loved fashion and lifestyle brands – encompassing menswear, accessories, diffusion lines, and fragrances. And all her collections share the same values – they are easy but elegant, understated but chic, thoroughly luxurious and yet consistently accessible. Born to Turkish parents, Farhi was bought up in Nice in the south of France and the exoticism of the former and light breeziness of the latter, is subtly woven into everything she creates. She moved to London, setting up her eponymous label in 1982. Farhi by Nicole Farhi, menswear followed in 1989.
