The Wolverine 1000 mile collection was launched to re-introduce the heritage of the brand. The company is more than 125 years old founded by J.A Krause and the 1000 mile collection offers the very first styles made back then. The construction is all handmade in America and key techniques which are way to expensive to commercially use due to high labour intensive cost have been applied to the Wolverine 1000 mile designs.Back then these boots were an innovation. Wolverine was oneof the first footwear co. to make a deisgn of a boot that would include comfort combined with high craftsmanship.
1000 Miles - is a name derived from an advertising campaign used some 100 years back. " Our Boots are guaranteed for 1000 miles or your money back".
