Universal Works Clothing is an exciting new British label. David Keyte the man behind the brand with more than 20 years experience has focused on a more functional form of fashion that isn't trend led by today's fast takeaway designs that last only for one season. Universal Works prides it's focus on highly engineered garments that will remain evergreen. Season after Season and yet still give an inspiring individual look.
David started his journey at Paul Smith, in retail but moving into product development and production. Travelling on through the industry David spent 5 years as head at Marharishi, also working closely with both Margaret Howell & Albam.
With firm experience and background in the industry David began to explore other interests in making Functional, better fitting garments, taking it to the next level.
The result of course was Universal Works with the aim of producing good honest menswear - well made, well considered, easy to wear.
All garments and accessories are made in small, highly skilled factories, many of which are in the UK.
