The hallmark of Shoes Like Pottery is the vulcanizing process, or ka-ryu in Japanese. In the ka-ryu process each shoe is fired in a kiln similar to the process of making pottery.

2 - Foxing elastic tape around the sole is stamped with a rubber seal bearing the logo of the "lucky hammer" or known as uchide no kozuchi.

3 - Soles are created to resemble the pebbled texture of raw rubber

4 - Bottom soles of the shoes are a vivid shade of blue. giving a flash of colour to your steps.
