Ladies and Gentleman, may we introduce to you a wonderful new shoe collection that the team at HEMINGWAYDESIGN have put together in collaboration with HUSH PUPPIES. This brand, spanking new collection is inspired by British Club Culture and Hush Puppies Iconic Heritage. HemingwayDesign, the folks that created Red or Dead, specialize in looking at great moments in British popular culture and putting them into a modern context- and that is exactly what we’re doing with Hush Puppies.
Hush Puppies came to prominence at a time of great importance musically, as well as culturally, and is recognized as a staple of the late 50s Rock n’ Roll scene, as the shoe of choice throughout the Mod movement, and the essential footwear for the fashion conscious “lad” of the 1980s. Working alongside Hush Puppies we’ve taken what we’ve learnt over the years, and allowed the younger Hemingway's freedom to help the team create cool contemporary classics for today’s environment.
This new collection features 8 styles straight from the HemingwayDesign studio, taking inspiration from the Teddy Boy Classic – the Brothel Creeper, from the Mod’s Chelsea and Desert boots and the Casual‘s ultra cool suede loafers.
HemingwayDesign have been having significant success in brand building with their VINTAGE brand and are going to be accessing their media network to spearhead a PR campaign, targeting the leading fashion and style titles, as well as launching a multi faceted digital and social campaign. The Collection will be backed up by innovative, eye-catching in-store POS and special packaging that will capture the imagination of the style-leading consumer, and penetrate cool shops worldwide, which is why we’re talking to you, now!
