In 1958, the world became a little more relaxed as Hush Puppies designed the first casual shoe.This new alternative - soft, breathable, comfortable footwear - invited the world to break the rules, kick back a little and enjoy. Ultimately, it changed the kind of shoes we wear today. The Hush Puppies basset hound embodies this with it's soft, lovable and youthful spirit that has defined the company from its very start. Its this idea of originality that continues to inspire the design and drive behind the re-launch of Hush Puppies in to the UK. 

To celebrate the brands comeback the first collection is collaborated with Hemingway Design Co.  Hemingway Design is a multi disciplinary design agency led by two generations of the Hemingway family and its wider team of designers. Wayne and Geraldine Hemingway are the highly successful founders of the Red or Dead brand which won the British Fashion Council's Street Style Designer of the Year for three consecutive years in the late 90s. HemingwayDesign was set up on the back of this years later. Today HemingwayDesign specializes in Social design from Furniture, tiling and decoration to housing, technology, and fashion. Some of the famous clients in their portfolio include Graham & Brown, Antler, G Plan, McDonalds, John Lewis, Crown Paints, Coca Cola and the list goes on.
